Jhanvi Kapoor is an Indian Actress who works in Hindi films. She is ready for upcoming film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl which is to be released on Independence Day 15th August 2021. Due Covid-19  pandemic now, filmmakers decided to release on OTT platform.

Gunjan Saxena a young girl of Lucknow with a big dream. She wanted to grow and be a pilot. But she lived in a world that believed girls can't drive cars would that let Gunjan fly a plane? But she didn't care about the world she just trusted her father who always told her  "Whether it's a man or a woman flying the plan, both are called pilots!" In the 1999 Kargil War, he flew Cheetah Helicopter she protected the country and by being the first Woman Air Force Officier to enter a war zone she made history! Today, there are more than 1600 Women Officers in the Indian Air Force who inspire all of India's daughter to chase their dreams.

According to filmmakers, the movie is a biopic of the first female Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena who went to fight in Kargil battle. She flew Cheetah Helicopter in order to rescue the causalities and reconnaissance which made them flew close to Pakistani positions.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl will release on Netflix. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for ₹70 crores and will stream the film worldwide. It will release on 12th August 2021 on Netflix. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Production and Zee Studios. Starring Jhanvi Kapoor alongside, Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in supporting roles.
